https://journal.formosapublisher.org/index.php/esa/article/view/12233

This study was conducted to determine how consumers perceive the quality of Sangjit service at Boosthampers Organizer Denpasar. This study uses five-dimensional analysis techniques of service quality and IPA as a reference and is a quantitative descriptive study. The results of the analysis show that consumer perceptions of service quality at Boosthampers get an average assessment based on performance of 3.67 with a good category while for assessments based on expectations, the average is 4.62. Based on the servqual gap method assessment, the level of conformity between expectations and reality is obtained at -0.95. This means that the level of consumer satisfaction is not optimal for the quality of Boosthampers Sangjit Organizer service. Based on the Cartesian diagram analysis, Boosthampers Sangjit Organizer should focus on the first quadrant (A), because in this quadrant, there are service attributes that are very important to consumers, but their performance is still low.
Ni Luh Natalia NephoyeI Nengah WirataLuh Putu Citrawati

https://journal.formosapublisher.org/index.php/esa/article/view/12353

This study investigates the role of academic supervision in enhancing teachers' pedagogical competence in South Aceh, focusing on the supervision practices of school principals and their impact on teacher development. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis from six participants, including school principals, vice principals, and senior teachers. The findings reveal that effective academic supervision contributes to significant improvements in teaching practices, particularly when feedback and follow-up mechanisms are well-structured. Key themes emerging from the data include supervision planning, pedagogical improvement, challenges in supervision, and follow-up practices. However, the study also highlights several challenges, including time constraints, lack of resources, and insufficient training for principals, which hinder the effectiveness of supervision. Additionally, technological limitations in rural schools exacerbate these challenges. Despite these barriers, participants emphasized the importance of continuous supervision and personalized feedback in driving teacher improvement. This research contributes to the understanding of academic supervision in resource-limited settings, offering practical recommendations for improving the supervision process. These include enhanced training for school leaders, better resource allocation, and the integration of technology into the supervision process. Future research should explore long-term impacts of supervision on teaching outcomes and strategies for overcoming the identified challenges in broader educational contexts.
Heri SatriaNiswanto NiswantoIsmail Ismail

https://journal.formosapublisher.org/index.php/esa/article/view/13643

Terrorism is globally recognized as a serious threat to the security and stability of a country. In the context of Indonesia, terrorism is defined as an actual threat, namely a threat that is currently developing and will continue in the next few years. Based on the history of the development of terrorism in Indonesia, extreme Muslim groups are often found as perpetrators of terrorism in Indonesia. Some of them are affiliated with international terrorism networks such as Al-Qaeda and the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). This group believes that it is permissible to kill anyone who disagrees with their views. This group is known as Khawarij. The special characteristic of the Khawarij group is that they adhere to the Takfiri ideology, namely declaring those who do not follow the beliefs or practices of the religion they adhere to as infidels. In its development, the Khawarij ideology became the ideological root of extremist movements among Muslims. The relationship between the Khawarij ideology and current acts of terrorism lies in the excessive understanding of Islam, as well as the justification of violence against other groups under the pretext of religion. Khawarij ideology also believes that a leadership (government) that does not implement Islamic laws is an infidel government that must be fought. These radical doctrines have led to the emergence of new extremist movements such as Al-Qaeda and ISIS. Therefore, one strategy in preventing acts of terrorism is to conduct Early Detection of the understanding of Khawarij ideology as part of the Early Warning System.
Abdul GhofurPriyantoAgus H.S. https://journal.formosapublisher.org/index.php/esa/article/view/12739

Weapons system acquisition is a strategic element in building a resilient and integrated national defense posture. This process faces significant challenges, such as limited coordination between the Ministry of Defense, the TNI Headquarters, and the Armed Forces Headquarters, budget constraints, and geopolitical influences that often hinder its effectiveness. This study explores a strategic approach based on inter-service coordination, technological innovation, and sustainability to create an adaptive and responsive defense posture to threats. Using a qualitative approach, the study analyzes data from academic literature and case studies of defense acquisition practices. This study integrates a SWOT analysis to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of each option in the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). AHP, although widely used, faces criticism regarding the subjectivity in setting criteria and sub-criteria. A SWOT analysis helps balance these potential subjective biases through a comprehensive data-based evaluation, thereby optimizing the decision-making process. The findings show that the integration of advanced surveillance technologies, such as long-range radars, multi-role drones, and satellite systems, significantly enhances operational effectiveness.
Syarif HidayatullahBasuki Rahmad SalehBudi SantosoElphis Rudy Dian Diana RahayuWisnu SaputroYunianto YuniantoPurnomo YusgiantoroI Wayan Midhio

https://journal.formosapublisher.org/index.php/esa/article/view/12171

Deviant behaviour refers to actions that violate the norms, values of the local culture and society. The study employs a qualitative approach, using interviews, questionnaires, observations, and document analysis to collect data from various stakeholders, including government, tourism associations, tour guides, and foreign tourists. The study finds that tour guides play a crucial role in providing accurate information and education about the destinations and the expected behaviours of tourists. However, many foreign tourists prefer traveling without tour guides due to financial, personal, or informational reasons. The study suggests that the role of tour guides needs to be supported by other parties, such as the government, law enforcement, and the community, to ensure the quality and sustainability of tourism in Bali.
I Gede Ngurah Primanda S RahadiartaNi Luh Dea EnjelitaNi Komang Putri Widiantari
