Abstract

As a province full of customs and culture, North Sumatra also has several historical heroes who have fought for the Indonesian state from colonialism. And now the name of the Hero is only partially remembered as a street name. North Sumatra must have information about Heroes from North Sumatra Province which will be introduced to children in the form of beautiful, attractive and easy-to-understand designs. The design is in the form of interactive media in the form of a Pop-Up book as a means of education, so that children are more familiar with and appreciate the services of Indonesian Heroes. This Pop-Up Book was created using digital painting techniques, which in the early stages took reference to the characters and uniforms used on these Heroes. Shaped and arranged into embossed images that have a 3D effect when the book is opened. Making it a means to educate and introduce to every child in North Sumatra.
