Abstract

the purpose of the research is to know the description related to perceptions of vulnerability, seriousness, benefits, obstacles, cues to action, self-efficacy and non-smoking behavior. The method used is a cross-sectional research method, a study to study the dynamics of the correlation between risk factors and effects, by means of an observational approach. The results of the research from 110 respondents obtained the p value of each perception. . The conclusion on the tangible perceptions of vulnerability, benefits, obstacles, cues to action and self-efficacy is stated to have no relationship with non-smoking behavior while perceived seriousness is stated to have a significant relationship with non-smoking behavior.
