Abstract

This study delves into the intricate interplay between hybrid worship, technology integration, and congregational growth in the digital era. Originating as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, online worship evolved into a lifestyle, presenting challenges and opportunities for church leaders. The research employs a qualitative approach, gathering primary and secondary data through observations, interviews, and literature review. Analyzing the impact of hybrid worship on physical attendance, the study explores the delicate balance between online and onsite worship. The government's shift from pandemic to endemic status further complicates the landscape. As churches navigate this dynamic, the study concludes that creative hybrid worship, anchored in theological perspectives, is vital for engaging congregants, ensuring the church's continuity, and proclaiming the Gospel.
