Relationship of Family Economic Factors and Parental Attention to Study Achievement in Grade VIII High School Students State 2 Sumbul

A The purpose of this study aimed to identify the relationship between economic factors and parental attention with the learning achievement of Christian Religious Education in class Junior High School Students 5 Sumbul in the 2022/2023 academic year. This study uses quantitative research methodology, but limited population who were 121 people and 25 % sample taken from all the research and the size of the population it is as much as 30 people. The research instrument was a closed questionnaire. The trial was conducted on 30 students of class VIII Junior High School Students 5 Sumbul outside of the research respondents. From the results of the validity analysis in the study, 30 items were valid with rxy values between 0.363 to 0.991> 0.361, so they were used as research instruments, from the reliability test and were in the very strong category, thus the instruments were reliable. From the results of data analysis obtained an average ideal score=115, with Ho: and Ha:. The results of data analysis show that the value of economic factors and parental attention to achievement=3027 and an ideal score=3032, then the value of economic factors and parents attention to achievement=98,20%, with tcount=6.048 consulted with ttable(n-1)=2,048 then tcount = 39,097>ttable = 2,048., because tcount>ttable, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus it can be concluded that the value of economic factors and parental attention with in junior high shool 2 Sumbul district ≥75% of expected.
