Eternity Mindset as a Foundation for the Behavior of the Nation's Children

Abstract

The purpose of this study examines the mindset of eternity that can be used as a basis for changing corruptive behavior that can erode the values of Pancasila. By using qualitative research methods, a descriptive analysis approach in order to understand the ethical and moral degradation of the nation's children began in 1965 until now. The results showed that the corrupt behavior of the nation's children was caused by a short-term mindset, a dimension of temporary thinking, while there was an opportunity, no longer paying attention to religion. Wanting evil things and corruptive, discriminatory, intolerant and radical behavior that can damage the values of nationalism. This negative behavior should not be allowed because it is harmful to nationalism, so this study proposes the right mindset related to eternity with a range of views to the future of the nation as the basis for positive behavior of the nation's children. The eternal mindset is a strong foundation preventing this nation from being divided due to corruption, intolerance, discrimination, radicalism. Therefore, every child of the nation changes your life principles, changes the paradigm of thinking, namely from the mindset of while you can to the mindset of eternity. This paradigm of eternal thinking does not cause antisocial and apathy over life but rather maximally explores potential and reason. This nation will continue to stand with the values of Pancasila where the behavior of the nation's children focuses on the future, children and grandchildren, and nationalism.
