Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of the principal's management on students' numeracy literacy abilities, to determine the influence of teacher performance professionalism on students' numeracy literacy abilities, to determine the influence of the principal's management and teacher performance professionalism on students' literacy and numeracy abilities and to find out Comparison of the Influence of Principal Management and Teacher Performance Professionalism on Numeracy Literacy Ability at Lintongnihuta 2 Public High School and Balige 2 Public High School. Then, based on the results of data analysis, the average principal management score at SMA Negeri 2 Lintongnihuta was 83.8824, while the average principal management score at SMA Negeri 2 Balige was 80.8824, so from the difference in the mean scores above it was concluded that the state of principal management at SMA Negeri 2 Lintongnihuta is better than SMA Negeri 2 Balige. Furthermore, the average value of the professionalism variable for teacher performance at SMA Negeri 2 Lintongnihuta is 78.3529 and the average value for professionalism of teacher performance at SMA Negeri 2 Balige is 74.4118, so from the difference in mean values It was concluded that the professionalism and performance of teachers at SMA Negeri 2 Lintongnihuta was higher than the professionalism of the performance of teachers at SMA Negeri 2 Balige.
