Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between exemplary and leadership of Christian religious education teachers and student behavior, both jointly and partially, with the hypothesis that there is a positive and significant relationship between exemplary and leadership of Christian religious education teachers and partial student behavior. or simultaneously. The three hypotheses in this study were proven, the first hypothesis was correlation coefficient (rx1y) = 0.678 > rtable = 0.227 and Sig value = 0.000 < 0.05 or tcount = 7.945 > ttable (0.05.76-2) = 2.000, and the contribution size = 45, 96%. This shows that there is a positive and significant relationship between the example of Christian Religious Education Teachers and the behavior of Class IX State Middle School Students in Balige District, amounting to 45.96%. The second hypothesis is that the correlation coefficient value (rx2y) = 0.625 > rtable = 0.227, and the Sig value = 0.000 < 0.05 or the tcount = 6.895 > ttable (0.05.76-2) = 2.000, and the contribution = 39.06%. shows that there is a positive and significant relationship between the Leadership of Christian Religious Education Teachers and the Behavior of Class IX State Middle School Students in Balige District, amounting to 39.06%. The third hypothesis is that the multiple correlation coefficient (R) = 0.721 > rtable = 0.227, and the Sig. F change = 0.000 < 0.05, and the size of the double contribution = 51.8%, this means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, that is, there is a significant positive relationship between the example and leadership of Christian religious education teachers together with the behavior of Class IX Middle School students. States in Balige District amounted to 51.9%. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between the relationship between exemplary and leadership of Christian Religious Education Teachers and the behavior of Class IX students of State Middle Schools in Balige District, Toba Regency for the 2023/2024 academic year, both jointly and partially because it has been tested empirically.
