Abstract

The population in the research were all state high school teachers in Tarutung District totaling 126 people with a sample of 44 people. The research instrument is a closed questionnaire, which was prepared by the researcher based on research variable indicators. The questionnaire was tested on 30 people who were not research samples, and was tested using validity and reliability tests. The three hypotheses in this research were proven, in the first hypothesis the X1Y correlation was 0.611 in a positive direction, tcount>ttable was 5.002>2.021 and the coefficient of determination was 37.33%. This shows that there is a positive and significant relationship between the Managerial Skills of School Principals and the Graduation Rate of Students to State Universities in State High Schools in Tarutung sub-district. The second hypothesis is that the X2Y correlation is 0.686 in a positive direction, then tcount>ttable is 6.116>2.021 and the coefficient of determination is 47.11%. This shows that there is a positive and significant relationship between Teacher Teaching Competency and Student Graduation Rates for State Universities in State High Schools in Tarutung sub-district. The third hypothesis is that the double correlation is 0.694 in a positive direction and Fcount>Ftable is 19.16>3.23, and the magnitude of the double contribution is 48.23%, which means there is a positive and significant relationship between the Principal's Managerial Skills and Teachers' Teaching Competence and Student Graduation Rates. to State Universities in State High Schools in Tarutung sub-district. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between the Managerial Skills of School Principals and the Teaching Competence of Teachers and the Graduation Rate of Students to State Universities in State High Schools in Tarutung sub-district, both jointly and partially because it has been empirically tested.
