Intercropping Practices in Midlands of Guji Zone, Southern Oromia, Ethiopia 2024-06-20T04:01:30+00:00 Girma Amare girmare2017@gmail.com Basha Kebede girmare2017@gmail.com Dembi Korji girmare2017@gmail.com
The Planting two or more crops at the same time and location is known as intercropping. During the 2019 primary rainy season, the work was done in the Guji Zone in Oromia, Ethiopia, as well as the districts of Adola Rede and Odo Shakiso. Calculating the yield output and cost-benefit ratio of haricot bean and maize intercropping techniques under farmer conditions, as well as the preferences of farmers and other stakeholders, are among the objectives of the demonstration. A district's two Kebeles, or sites, were chosen depending on their potential to produce maize and haricot beans. Fifteen farmers were picked from each Kebele/site and placed in a single FRG. As a result, four FRGs with 60 farmers (15 women and 45 men) were formed. Better haricot bean (Haramaya) and maize (BH-546) cultivars have been shown by growing the crops alone in 100 m2 plots of each species, with the necessary amounts of seed and fertilizer placed 40 cm apart from one another and 10 and 75 cm apart for the haricot bean and maize, respectively. Field days, technological reviews, exchange visits, and training enhanced farmer-to-farmer knowledge of haricot bean-corn intercropping methods. Intercropping metrics, measurement, in-person interviews, and observation were employed to obtain the information. Descriptive statistics and a qualitative examination of the farmers' preferences were used to analyze the data. According to the demonstration results, a net return of 28,007.67 ETB/ha was achieved by producing 2.746 tons of maize and 2.323 tons of haricot beans per hectare
2025-01-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Girma Amare, Basha Kebede, Dembi Korji https://journal.formosapublisher.org/index.php/ijsmr/article/view/13750 Web-Based Auction Information System at PT. Technology has been used in various aspects of people's lives, especially the internet. The application of this internet technology makes it easier for people to access information because there are no limitations in terms of access to information. On this occasion, the researcher tried to develop a WEB-Based Pawn Auction System. The online auction service provider is the committee auctioning off customer auction items that are due and the buyer makes a price offer. This Pawn Auction Service Provider Service that is due is made using the PHP programming language, MySQL database, and XAMPP 1.6 webserver. This application will be made web-based so that it is easy to access by various parties and uses a user-friendly interface so that it is comfortable to use. This application can be run on various existing internet web browsers. In creating this application, the researcher concluded that the existence of the Pawnshop Auction Service Provider will increasingly open up opportunities for the wider community to get the chance to auction and obtain auctioned goods in the form of auctioned goods that have matured at a price that is cheaper than the market price
2025-02-05T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Yusuf Ijonris, Tamado Simon Sagala https://journal.formosapublisher.org/index.php/ijsmr/article/view/13393 A Cultural Influence on the Local Government Environment in Indonesia 2025-01-13T01:51:01+00:00 Tera Triyantara HRN tera.tri.hrn@unma.ac.id Dody Kusmayadi dodykusmayadi3@gmail.com
The legacy of a centralized government system with a mindset that is formed as a result of experience so far with a centralized system of government and development includes, 1) weak supervision; 2) responsiveness in changing development approaches and strategies; 3) misalignment between policies and implementation in various areas of development; 4) the economic crisis has caused the weakening of the ability of local governments; 6) the unevenness of economic growth between regions; and 7) the powerlessness of the community in the process of social change for the improvement of welfare in various regions. In Indonesia, without excluding the factors of injustice, geopolitics, and ethnicity, there is a tendency to identify movements. These three countries have different approaches to managing public administration, influenced by their respective political systems, history, and socio-economic conditions. In Indonesia, decentralization and regional autonomy are prominent because of the strengthening of the role of local governments, although challenges in terms of accountability and coordination between levels of government still exist. With its federal system, Malaysia shows a high efficiency level in administration but faces issues of transparency and public participation. Meanwhile, Vietnam, as a socialist country, centralized administration in the central government, but started to reform to improve efficiency and accountability. This study found that the success of public administration reforms in the three countries depends on applying good governance principles, including strengthening accountability, transparency, and efficiency of the administrative system. The study makes an important contribution to developing public administration systems in developing countries to achieve effective governance that is responsive to the needs of the people. Although the three countries have made progress in some sectors, the main challenges still revolve around improving transparency, strengthening accountability, and managing resources efficiently
2025-02-05T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Adela Magdalena Jonathan Marramis, Sri Roekminiati, Zainal Fatah, Dendy Homeland Wirawan https://journal.formosapublisher.org/index.php/ijsmr/article/view/13112 Representation of Gender Relations in Mubadalah.Id Media: An Analysis of Sara Mills' Critical Discourse 2024-12-26T02:22:23+00:00 Anis Safitri irtifassina@gmail.com
This research aims to critically analyze the discourses that represent gender relations in the media mubadalah.id.
