The Relationship Between Celebrity Worship and Hedonistic Lifestyle in K-Pop Students

This study aims to determine the relationship between celebrity worship and hedonism lifestyle in K-Pop fan students. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a relationship between celebrity worship and hedonistic lifestyles in K-pop fan students. The subjects in this study are students who are still actively studying in the city of Padang with an age range of 17-25 years. This study used Rank Spearman technique to collect data from student K-Pop fans. Data were obtained using hedonism and celebrity worship lifestyle scales. The results showed a relationship between celebrity worship and a hedonic lifestyle. Celebrity worship and hedonic lifestyle are interconnected, if celebrity worship is higher, the higher the hedonic lifestyle. So, if you have celebrity worship, it will affect the hedonistic lifestyle.

Cultural transformation within the Batak Toba community is an ongoing phenomenon, particularly in the context of Christian education. One cultural aspect that plays a significant role is Pasu-Pasu (blessing), which holds not only spiritual meaning but also functions as a social and ethical value in daily life. This research aims to analyze how the concept of Pasu-Pasu can be integrated into Christian education as part of the cultural transformation of the Batak Toba community, using Timothy Tennent's Trinitarian mission perspective. Tennent's Trinitarian missiological approach emphasizes that the Christian mission is not solely about evangelization but also about active involvement in shaping a culture that reflects Gospel values. The research findings indicate that Christian education which adopts the values of Pasu-Pasu can shape students' character based on Christian faith while simultaneously preserving Batak Toba cultural identity

Kajian ini menganalisis makna akuntansi dalam tradisi kemenyan melalui pendekatan literature review. Hasil penelitian mengungkap praktik akuntansi kultural yang multidimensional pada rantai nilai kemenyan. Tradisi kemenyan merepresentasikan akuntansi nilai hibrida yang memadukan aspek ekonomi dengan spiritualitas. Etnografi berperan penting mengungkap sistem akuntansi informal berbasis kepercayaan dan standar adat. Temuan menunjukkan kemenyan berfungsi sebagai medium akuntabilitas vertikal dan horizontal dalam komunitas. Praktik ini mencerminkan keseimbangan antara tanggung jawab material dan spiritual. Kajian ini memperkaya wacana akuntansi sosial berbasis kearifan lokal serta menawarkan perspektif alternatif bagi pengembangan akuntansi kontekstual

Abstrak:
This study analyzes the condition of clean water sources and quality in underdeveloped villages, focusing on water source availability, water quality, testing and filtration, and the impact on public health. The results show that most people still rely on rivers and springs as their main sources of water, with water quality that has not been tested in a laboratory but is used directly for daily needs. The impact on public health is relatively minimal, indicating the potential for simple but effective water management practices. These findings provide an important basis for planning community-based clean water management interventions
