Teacher Professional Development in the Digital Age: The Role of Communication Science in Improving Teaching Skills

Professional development of teachers in the digital era is increasingly important in the midst of rapid technological developments and educational transformation. Communication science plays a key role in helping teachers adapt to these changes, especially in improving teaching skills and interaction with students. This article explores several important aspects, including the use of digital technology, effective communication in teaching, continuous training, personalized learning, and microcredentialing. This research focuses on Madrasah Aliyah Cilendek Kota Tasikmalaya, where teachers face significant challenges in utilizing technology and communication skills to optimize teaching. Based on analysis from various academic sources and case studies, this article offers strategic insights and recommendations for teacher professional development in the digital age
