Abstract

After graduation, an English pre-service teacher will have to take the Licensure Examination for Teachers. Having a review session is helpful to prepare students with all the knowledge taught to them during their tertiary education. This study sought to compare the two majorship review sessions conducted in Gordon College for the integration course of the English pre-service teachers. The study used experimental research design, wherein mean distribution was utilized to identify average scores and paired sample t-test to know the significant difference. The study found that the two review session, both in language and literature competencies, is effective as the pre-service teachers progressed from Developing Proficient to Proficient. This implies sustaining and enhancing the in-house review course of the institution
