Online opinion polarization threatens the quality of public communication, yet the role of internal community communication remains underexplored. This qualitative case study uses digital netnography to examine how a WhatsApp-based RT/RW community in Surabaya manages polarization through informal moderation and shared communication norms. Data from observations, discussions, interviews with 10 informants, and document review were thematically analyzed. The findings show that informal moderation, calming message framing, and reinforcement of collective norms effectively reduce conflict and sustain dialogue. The study highlights the social capacity of digital communities to manage polarization constructively and contributes to theories of community-based digital communication governance and inclusive online dialogue strategies.
Yuzril Fadhil MuhammadFarida Farida

This study assessed a Virginia tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum L.) bark–based botanical insecticide for controlling whitefly (Bemisia tabaci) and improving potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) yield. Using a completely randomized design with six concentrations (0–10%), results showed a significant negative linear relationship between insecticide concentration and pest population (R² = 0.98) and infestation intensity (R² = 0.99). The 10% concentration reduced pest populations by 22.82% and produced the lowest infestation levels. Pest population strongly correlated with infestation intensity (R² = 0.98). Yield increased markedly at 10%, with tuber number and weight rising by 66.67% and 82.93%, respectively (R² > 0.99). The insecticidal effect is attributed to nicotine alkaloids and toxic secondary metabolites. These findings highlight the potential of tobacco-based botanical insecticides as a sustainable component of integrated pest management.
Hafidh MaksumHalik HalikBadratun NafisMaulidar MaulidarJuanda Juanda

https://journal.formosapublisher.org/index.php/sospolbud/article/view/15975

The Christian community still lacks adequate knowledge in terms of literacy and in filtering social media, making them easily influenced by hoaxes. The spread of information is also suspected to compromise Christian values and even foster an attitude of indifference toward divinity. This research employs a qualitative method by reviewing literature and scholarly works that discuss the role of Catechetics and the impact of Agnosticism in the Information Era. Agnostics are generally less interested in supernatural matters such as spiritual experiences and worship rituals, but rather prioritize personal needs and ideas that are logically acceptable. The Church faces increasing demands to deliver the message of God’s Word in a contextual and refreshing manner that addresses the needs and struggles of today’s believers. Catechetics, therefore, must play a vital role in providing learning that transforms one’s worldview into a Christ-centered perspective.
John RonaldoYanto Paulus HermantoAndrew JordanFajar Sentosa PradikaKarolin Ferdianto

This study looks at how work discipline, leadership style, and organizational culture affect both group and individual employee performance at PT. Demosta Berjaya. 35 respondents were chosen using a non-probability sampling technique called saturation sampling as part of a quantitative research strategy. Validity and reliability tests, together with traditional assumption testing, were used to assess the data. The hypotheses were evaluated using t-tests, F-tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and determination coefficient analysis. The findings demonstrate that corporate culture, leadership style, and work discipline all have a simultaneous, positive, and considerable impact on employee performance. Additionally, it was discovered that each of these factors alone had a favorable and considerable impact on PT. Demosta Berjaya employees' performance. These findings demonstrate the vital significance that sustainable and successful human resource management techniques play.
Sakti Wicaksono
