Innovation in the Reward System to Improve Employee Performance in the Digital Era at the Toboali Branch of the Hanna Baking and Plastic Materials Store

This research aims to analyze and explain the indicators in the performance assessment system, the implementation of a system that is recognized as performance-based, and the challenges faced in implementing a system that is recognized as performance-based at the Hanna Cake and Plastic Store. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research design, and data analysis is carried out using narrative descriptive analysis. The research results show that the performance assessment of Hanna Cake and Plastic Shop employees uses the Graphic Rating Scale model, that each section has appropriate performance indicators, and the company has set performance standards for each indicator. Performance assessments are carried out once a month. In general, the implementation of a performance-based reward system at Hanna Baking and Plastics Store has gone well. There are four performance-based reward programs that have been implemented, namely Attendance Rewards, Performance Rewards, Pasti Pas Rewards, and Sales Rewards. However, in practice, there are still several obstacles in implementing a performance-based reward system at the Hanna Cake and Plastic Shop, including: Reward payments to employees are often delayed because the reward payment system has not been integrated. And employee performance assessments are only carried out once a month, so the assessment results are less effective and objective.
