Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between celebrity worship and hedonism lifestyle in K-Pop fan students. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a relationship between celebrity worship and hedonistic lifestyles in K-pop fan students. The subjects in this study are students who are still actively studying in the city of Padang with an age range of 17-25 years. This study used Rank Spearman technique to collect data from student K-Pop fans. Data were obtained using hedonism and celebrity worship lifestyle scales. The results showed a relationship between celebrity worship and a hedonic lifestyle. Celebrity worship and hedonic lifestyle are interconnected, if celebrity worship is higher, the higher the hedonic lifestyle.  So, if you have celebrity worship, it will affect the hedonistic lifestyle.
